People who suffer from chronic disease or disabilities often feel forgotten or abandoned. Their caregivers experience exhaustion and other problems related to the stress of caregiving. To help people in these difficult challenges, CareLinks offers a "second-family" team to provide help, companionship, and respite for the primary caregiver. If you have thought about trying to find a way to be of service to your church and your community, consider CareLinks. We ask team members to contribute approximately 2 hours per month in visits or calls to their partner. These two hours are very flexible depending upon your schedule. Each team also meets for about 30 minutes each month. Providence Baptist Church currently has 7 active teams and we are recruiting a new CareLinks team. CareLinks teams bring together people for mutually enriching relationships.
