March, 2010 Mission Action Project
This month Mission Friends, RA's and GA's will be contributing monies to "JAARS"-Jungle Aviation and Radio Service.
What is "JAARS"?
The Jungle Aviation and Radio Service facilitates air, land and water transportation in isolated areas around the world. It develops translation software and culturally appropriate media. It provides technical support and improves communication through Internet connections, email and Web conferences. Trained personnel are serving to speed Bible translation and language development for hundreds of communities.
One Bible may cost on an average of $10.00. The money your give will help JAARS to translate the Bible into the languages of the people they serve across the globe!

Join us for our Preschool Summer Program!
We would love to have your child in our summer program! The program runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and children from 8 weeks-5 years can enroll. We offer 2 five week sessions beginning in June and ending in August. Extended care is available from 1-3 p.m. for potty trained children ages 2-5 yrs old.
Registration for the community begins on February 24 at 10:00 a.m.

KinderCamp 2010...A Summer Camp for Rising K children!
We are delighted to offer our day camp for rising K children again this summer! Our TK teaching staff has great learning experiences planned for each week. Each camp is from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Your child will pack a bag lunch with a drink each day. Extended care from 7:30 a.m-6:00 p.m. is available for an additional fee. We hope you will consider including some of these opportunities in your summer plans! Camps are limited to 16 children each week. We want to enrich your child's life through happy day camp experiences in a christian setting!

Summer Camps for Kindergarten-5th Grades!
Summertime means fun, friendships and memories. Your child will experience all of these in Providence Baptist Church's summer camps! Our first camp, Vacation Bible School begins on June 28, and the camp hours are 9:00 a.m.-12 Noon. During the week of VBS, we offer extended camp from 7:30 a.m.-6:00 pm for $70.00. Beginning on July 6 our camp hours change from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Campers are asked to bring a bagged lunch with a drink each day. We want to enrich your child's life through happy summer experiences in a Christian setting!

PASSPORTKids...A Camp for 3rd-6th Grades!
Where: Wingate University, Wingate, NC
Dates: July 12-15, 2010
Cost: $100 Deposit (By April ); $235 Total Cost
Theme: Barefoot-How Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news! Romans 10:15
Bible study and Worship will involve thinking about what it means to truly believe in Jesus Christ, and campers are challenged to consider it an act of worship and serve others. Come and see how beautiful are the feet of those who hear the good news and then delight in sharing it with the world. Recreation, freetime, & parties offer campers get a variety of experiences during the week!
