The new Children's Ministry Building became a reality in the Spring of 2009. Groundbreaking was held on December 17, 2007. At that time the building was named the Harry and Nita Moss Children's Ministry Building. Since that Sunday in December, the construction company was busy with site preparations and construction of the building.
THE CHILDREN'S MINISTRY BUILDING OPENED ON SUNDAY, MAY 17. This was the first SUNDAY of Bible Study for preschool children to occur in the new building. The first day for the Child Development Center was Monday, May 18.
RENOVATION of the area adjoining the new building has been COMPLETED!. The renovation kept us in a construction mode for approximately three months following the "opening" of the building. The renovation included two new class rooms, a children's library, a new entrance into the Children's Ministry building from within our current facilities, and some storage area. In additional, two restrooms were constructed immediately adjoining the new "inside" entrance to the Children's Ministry Building
As completed, the Moss Children's Ministry Building houses all our preschool programs including our Weekday Education Program/Child Development Center and other ministries for preschoolers and their parents. The building has separate, secured entrances complete with all the amenities necessary to conduct a ministry of caring and nurturing for preschoolers seven days a week.

The DEDICATION CEREMONY for the building was held on May 31, 2009 the Sunday on which the church observed and celebrated its 55th Anniversary.
