CHAPEL/MISSIONS CENTER:  An integral part of the construction project at Providence was the relocation of the original Chapel and the construction of an adjoining Missions Center.  The Chapel was built in 1954 when the congregation was organized.  It had served as a worship/education center, an activities center, and was restored as a chapel in 1987.  To make way for the new Children's Ministry Building, the chapel building needed to be moved.  In 2007, the adjoining classroom were demolished and the chapel worship center was relocated.  Below are some pictures of the process.  After the chapel was relocated by a specialty company, volunteers from the church, working with Bradley Construction Company, constructed an adjoining Missions Center.  The new facility was dedicated on December 7, 2008.
