THURSDAY BIBLE STUDY SUMMER ACTIVITY
For those who have attended the Thursday morning bible Studies, we are offering you a time for summer fellowship!
Join us on Thursday, July 15 in the Nalley Missions Center, from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm for a covered dish salad lunch. You are invited to bring a cold salad, enough for you and another person.
If you plan to attend, call the Church Reservation Line (704-366-4030 x211), in order that we will have an idea of how many to "set-up" for the meal.
DISCIPLE BIBLE STUDY is an adult Bible study program that calls all followers of Jesus Christ to read the Bible in a structured, focused way over a period of 32 to 34 for weeks, depending upon the program. The aim is to develop strong Christian leaders.
Besides the personal devotional and spiritual discipline these programs facilitate, Disciple also offers the great advantage of studying, growing and interacting with 15-20 others working with the same material in an interactive class context once a week. In small groups, the participant discovers mutual support, prayer, new insights and preparation for servant-hood in the name of Jesus Christ.
Though this program is offered by Providence Baptist Church as a ministry of our church, no one is required to be a member of Providence to participate. All are welcome and encouraged to be a part.
The current classes are scheduled to conclude within the next few weeks. The schedule for the Fall-2010 is being formed as this time and the information will be "posted" on the web-site as soon as the schedule if finalized.
