The three conceptual drawings prepared by the architect and presented by the Facilities Planning Task Force during the summer of 2006 have been previously displayed in the rotunda of the church and on this page of the web-site
UPDATE:
Much has happened since the summer of 2006. The church engaged Cargill Associates Stewardship Development firm to work with us on our combined Budget and Capital Campaigns during the fall of 2006. The result of the Capital Campaign portion of that emphasis indicated that we could expect to receive $5.1M toward the proposed concepts presented by the Facilities Planning Task Force.
In January 2007, the Facilities Planning Task Force worked with the architectural firm of WGM Design to revise the original plans based on the amount of funds committed to the project.
After many weeks of studying and planning, the Facilities Planning Task Force is making its first recommendation to the church that the Sanctuary portion of the Chapel Building be relocated and a Missions Center be constructed adjoining the Chapel. Special funds have been committed to the Missions Center. The relocation of the Chapel is necessary to make the best utilization of our property for the addition of a new Children's Ministry building.
A Special Called Church Conference has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 23 at 6:00 p.m. to consider this recommendation from the Facilities Planning Task Force. Additional information, including proposed drawings, will be available on the "SUMMER 2007" page of this web-site. That page is listed under the "HOME" page of the web-site. We encourage to visit that page often for up-to-date information.

This is an exciting and busy time at Providence. We cover your prayers as we seek God's Will in our deliberations and planning.
