STROKE PREVENTION

Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States
for men and the second leading cause of death for women. It is
also the number one reason people are admitted to the nursing home.
What most people do not realize is that most strokes (up to 75%)
can be prevented.


WASH YOUR HANDS!

We all have seen the signs conveying the message "It's a dirty world out
there!"  Regular washing of your hands can help avoid sickness from
mild to severe.  At Providence, we have installed special dispensers
of hand sanitizers in all restrooms and other strategic locations
throughout the facility for your convenience and safety.
