We are grateful for your visit with us on the Internet and we are hopeful this website will be helpful in discovering information about our church.  We look forward to meeting you in person soon.  Providence is a warm and vibrant congregation.  Worship, Fellowship, and Missions are at the heart of what we do.  We are a diverse congregation with an extensive ministry.  Exciting things are happening at Providence!  We have relocated our Chapel and built an adjoining Missions Center.  Our new Children's Ministry Building opened on May 18.  We will be renovating a portion of our existing building.  Most importantly, we are helping the members of our church family to build better lives.  We invite you to be a part of our faith community and experience a spiritual journey together.

Providence Baptist Church began in 1954 with a group of young families who had moved to the Cotswold community of south Charlotte.  At that time, Randolph Road was only two lanes, but houses were being built and those first families saw the potential for the development of this area of Charlotte and the need for a church.

ONLINE CONTRIBUTIONS

Make your giving to the church to support PBC missions, ministries and programs easier and convenient!   Did you know you can contribute to Providence in the same manner in which you pay your home bills?  Contributions to PBC can be established via your personal online banking option or set up as an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) via the PBC website.  When using online banking, simply set up PBC as one of your recurring payees and use your envelope number as your account number.  If you wish to contribute via EFT, you may set up your contribution to PBC online using the SECURE link shown below. 

When you "click" on the SECURE link, you will be prompted for the appropriate information. If this is the first time you will be using our EFT, you will need to create a profile.  The program has "prompts" on the home page for you to create a profile.    You will also be provided with a page of FAQ's - Frequently Asked Questions – to answer questions you may have.

The UPDATE to our Online Giving module  was facilitated recently.  If this is your first visit to the Online Giving module, the first thing to do is complete the "profile" link.  If you have questions that are not answered on the EFT initial page, please contact the Financial office at 704-366-4030x117 or EMAIL.
