 In August, we welcomed KATE PERRY to our staff as Ministry Resident to Young Professionals.  This position has been funded by an estate bequest and a grant from the National Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  This is a two-year assignment for an important ministry through our church.

Kate is a graduate of Wingate University and she received her Master of Divinity degree from McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia in May 2009.  She has recently completed an internship at First Baptist Church of Decatur, Georgia.

Kate would like to connect with all the "young professionals" in our area.  This is a new and exciting ministry at Providence and Kate would like to hear from all who are interested in being involved in the genesis of this group.  She can be reached via telephone at 704-366-4030 x113 or via E-mail at KATE PERRY.
