Andrew and Jinny Herring
Our Ministry Resident is Andrew Herring.  "Drew" joined our staff in September 2011.  He is a       graduate of the University of North Carolin and Duke Divinity School.  As with our previous Ministry Resident, the position has been funded by an grant.  Drew has continued the ministry of young professionals in our congregation.  A Mission Trip for this group has been scheduled for 2012.  The group will be traveling to New York City to minister with the Metro Baptist Church in Manhattan, New York City.  (Our 2011 College Mission Trip was to the same church.)  Plans are being developed now and individuals interested in this mission opportunity should contact Drew via EMAIL.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 In August 2009, KATE PERRY joined the church staff as our first Ministry Resident to Young Professionals. Her residency was a two year intentional placement and was funded by an estate bequest and a grant from the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  In the summer of 2011, Kate completed her assignment with Providence and she enrolled in a CPE program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  We are thankful for the time that Kate served with us at Providence.
