High School Choir

HSC 2010

The 35-voice High School Choir from Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina is under the direction of Carey J. Cannon. This choir tours annually each summer and has sung in churches in the United Kingdom, at the National Cathedral in Washington DC, the United Nations in New York City, Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota, and Gardener's View Baptist Church in Kingston Jamaica.  Their singing venues have included churches, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and schools.  This summer the choir sang in Jamaica as part of a combined effort with the High School Youth group.  The purpose of this trip was to continue a growing partnership between Providence Baptist Church and the Jamaica Baptist Union.
