New & Prospective Members

If you have recently joined Providence or if you are interested in finding out more about our church, you are invited to contact our Associate Pastor, Dr. David Jordan to briefly explore the biblical basis for four areas of our church life:
Worship, Christian Education/Discipleship, Missions and Fellowship.
We will share how the life of Providence is vitally shaped by the biblical and spiritual call to be God's people here in Charlotte. We will also tour our facility.

In the right column are pictures of the most recent new church members at Providence.  We welcome these to the official membership roll.  To attend or participate in our church you do not have to be a member, but we are delighted when individuals desire to become a member.  If you are interested in membership at Providence, the following information should be helpful to you.  


The church receives persons for membership in several ways:

* Profession of one's personal faith in Christ as Savior followed by baptism.

* Statement of one's Christian faith and previous baptism.

* Transfer of one's membership from another Baptist church.

If you wish to become a member of Providence Baptist Church by one of these methods, you may:

*Contact the Associate Pastor, Dr. David Jordan, djordan@providencebc.org or call
him at 704.366.4030 x126.

*Complete a "Registration for Church Membership" card which can be found in every pew rack in the sanctuary and do ONE of the following:

a) Give card form to a greeter at the Visitor Welcome Desk in the Rotunda and a  member of the Ministry Team staff will contact you.

b) Give the card to one of the Ministry Team staff and he/she will contact you.

c) Bring the card to the front of the Sanctuary during the Hymn of Commitment.
