The senior adult ministry of Providence Baptist Church is an active and vital asset to the life of the church. Small groups and large group events provide many opportunities for traveling, socializing, and developing strong friendships.

PRIME-TIMERS

Prime-timers is not an organization.  It is the name given to the senior adult group, in general, in the church.  The only qualifications for membership are a desire to have fun and want to be with other adults of the "senior" age.  What is considered a "senior" age - that determination is made by each individual.  Everyone one is invited to all of the Prime-timers activities!


Primetimers meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from September through May.

SENIOR ADULT CHOIR

The Senior Adult Choir rehearsal is held on Thursday mornings, September through May.  The choir prepares music for various events.  Once a month, the Senior Adult Choir will travel to a local retirement center and present a program of familiar sacred and secular music.  Holiday music is always a favorite during the November - December holiday season.  The programs are fun for the singers and the audience.  Director of the Senior Adult Choir is Linda McConnell.   For more information, call the Music Office at the church:  704-366-4030 x123 or EMAIL your request and/or questions.
