High School Choir Tour 2008

Music Opportunities for 6th-12th grades

Middle School Choir - open to 6th-8th grades
Middle School Choir is directed by Minister of Music, Carey Cannon.

Providence Ringers - limited enrollment 6th-8th grades
Providence Ringers rings 4 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells, Level II-III. The director is Marie Cook Irving.

High School Choir - open to 9th-12th grades
High School Choir is directed by Minister of Music, Carey Cannon.

Providence Bell Ensemble - limited enrollment 9th-12th grades
Providence Bell Ensemble rings 3-4 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells, Level II-III. The director is Marie Cook Irving.

High School Ensemble - limited enrollment 10th-12th grades
This is a small selected group of singers directed by Carey Cannon.

High School Choir Home Concert

High School Choir presented Home Concert on Wednesday May 23. 2007

Providence’s high school youth traveled to South Dakota for a combined choir tour and mission trip. While in South Dakota, the High School Choir presented concerts at:

Mt. Rushmore Amphitheater
South Maple United Methodist Church, Rapid City
Hot Springs Church
The Rosebud Reservation

The high school youth did mission work for the Lakota Tribe on the Rosebud Reservation working with The Tree of Life Ministry. Their goal was to improve the housing and other facilities through construction work.
