1I want to volunteer. What should I do?
To work with minors, our Sacred and Safe Policies require a minimum of 6 months active participation at Providence, a background check, and Sacred and Safe Training.

2Why are there so many volunteer requirements?
The care and safety of children are of utmost importance to us. We believe the extra mile and extra steps are worth it.
3What happens if I need to miss a week?
We understand. There is a list of substitute teachers and parents and that you can contact to find coverage. If you cannot find a sub, you can let the Children's Ministry team know and they will help secure a sub.
4How do I complete my background check?
Our Children's Ministry Team will be in touch with next steps.
5How often are background checks updated?
We update background checks every 3 years.
